Friday I went to the doctor to see if there was anything they could give me for this lingering illness. Apparently it is a virus, I just have to wait it out. I don't feel sick any more, but I have this lingering cough that just drives me crazy.
I told my doctor about moving to NC in the spring. She is also moving in the spring to TN. I was feeling bad about losing a doctor that I like, but I would be losing her anyway.
This Tuesday is when my daughter arrives. The waiting time since I have known she was coming has really passed by quickly. We have so much to talk about and some good food to be cooked between the two of us.
She wants me to make potato pancakes and I want her to make some chili.

it's so exciting that your daughter will be here soon. potato pancakes and chili both sound like yummy meals.
something's in the air with you and your dr both moving east. i'm not sure what city, but there are some good schools in NC, so i bet there will be some good drs.
for now just get better for your daughter's visit!!
I've been wondering where you have been? I didn't realize you were still not feeling well. You've had that virus for a while now. I'm glad you went to the doctorand had her check you out aagain. That's funny that the both of you are moving. It's too bad you both aren't moving to the same state. I'm sure you'll find a good dr. when you move.
How is Ed feeling? I hope he is feeling better. You must be so excited about your daughter coming in. That should be nice having her with you and cooking for each other. I love potato pancakes. I haven't had them in so long, but absolutely love them.

Enjoy your visit with your daughter. I learned how to make potato pancakes when I was 27. All these years later, I've forgotten. Would you mind posting your recipe?

So sorry about your lingering cough. That must be so annoying. Happiness is moving with your daughter. Love potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream. YUM!!!

Sorry to hear you're still fighting that virus Grammagus. I'm excited for you to have this time with your daughter. The time between visits with my Mom is often too long so I understand the anticipation.
