I think I am the first one here this morning, but that is okay. I am having one of my sleepless early mornings, but I will return to the sack before long.
It is always nice to wake up to all of us talking to each other. Some days I don't say anything because I just like to listen.
Yesterday I had a migraine, but it went away later in the evening. It was also a fairly quiet day since Ed's meds seemed to be working. I wish they would work that well every day.
We will either go out for lunch today or on Thursday. Tomorrow would be the choice day but we have grocery shopping in the morning and my housekeeper is coming in the afternoon.

Heather, I understand about you having to take out the trash. Beware the snow on the sidewalk. I'm so sorry you're having a panic attack. Are you breathing in through your mouth, out through your nose. I hope it ends soon.

Dianna: Why ARE you up at this hour? LOL Glad to see you through my bleary eyes. Its fun to get to plan our day, huh? So many days plan themselves, whether we like it or not!
It is DANG COLD OUT THERE. May have to drive hubby back to his trucking company when truck is repaired. They are going to surprise us about the time. So I may be driving far after dark. I do love driving in the dark, so exciting. Put on good music and watch out for deer! Planning to make chili this morning.
My daughter and family are driving home from Florida. Georgia has freezing temps and there may be ice on the way. Kinda concerned. Dawn

heather, do be careful in that snow. when can get you get your scrips? oh, i hope that panic attack has subsided. terrible way to start the day. hope things get better.
dianna, get that coffee! this is early for you. i hope after your brain wakes up that you're feeling well today.
snailor, good morning. sounds like a great day to make chili. be careful on the roads at night. hope your daughter has a safe trip. hopefully the highways will be clear. as far as i've heard for this area it shouldn't be too bad til friday.
getting some coffee down myself...up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night again, but back to sleep. i'll talk to the dr about this friday as well. that's the day of freezing rain, of course.
i made a big pot of beans yesterday, but was too tired to make the cornbread so i'll do that and see what in the fridge is left since last week. i may need to get my coleus inside...freestyle day. i want to finish one poem in calligraphy (out of 3) just to settle my mind.

Dawn...it's in the 20's here. Chili sounds good!! You are the first person I know that likes driving in the dark!! I HATE it!! Although I hate driving! And I can't! Sigh.....

As for me....you don't want to know. Just bad...but some good...not that Maddy being sick is good but she has a little cold so Sunday her and I snuggled up in my bed with about 5 cozy blankets and watched Christmas movies all day and had an awesome talk. It was I day we both needed sooo bad. We snuggled and had such an awesome time. I will cherish that day...and remember that the next pre-teen moment!
I was in bed all day because Saturday hubby and I went out to dinner, went to do some Christmas shopping because I can't pass up a 30% off at kohls and then so stupidly tried to go to walmart. I know...sooo stupid. I just wanted one normal evening...and it turned into be barly getting in the car to go home. Hubby was quite frustrated and this time he was right. I have been paying for it! It's a horrible flare up. The kind that all you can do is sob and pray.
I'm not sure what my next move is. This just isn't right. I couldn't make it to PT yesterday so I'll see what they say next week.
I'll end on an amazing positive. When I got Maddy up for school I noticed it was freezing and looked still the temp and it was 64...I have it set at 68. I tried to work with it for 30 min and could not get it to turn on. I called hubby he was going to have to leave work early, worried about how we would pay for it etc...and I just started praying. Then about 30 min later it turned on!!! It's been working ever since. It's those moments that keep me going...Maddy said..see mom...Jesus heard you!! Awesome!!!

Autumn: I love to drive in snow storms, also. Its like a challenge and you keep all your senses sharp as you watch the road AND the drivers to see where they are sliding to. In EXTREME ice, I do not drive, but I would in an emergency. I taught both girls to drive, waking them up for late night driving and bad weather driving. We had a mantra, "SNOW means SLOW. ICE means TWICE as SLOW as SNOW."
Autumn, you have had a rough weekend. Today I feel like what someone said a few days ago. Wish I could wave a magic wand and fix you up all good as new. Have you considered couples counseling with your pastor or a therapist? Hopeful that these misunderstandings between you and hubby are resolved. Hugs!

snailor, i'm glad you taught your daughters that lesson. i could drive in NE b/c folks go by those guides. here in mountain country, the police beg people to get off the roads if a flake falls b/c no one knows the rules. even in the fall when leaves are all over the roads which is as bad as ice.
p.s. i love cornbread dunked...mmm. having a hard time getting off the heating pad, but the oven will be on soon! i've held off on the heater so far this year.

Hi Autumn. I'm sorry that during the time you were hurting so bad, your husband chose that time to be angry and sullen. Men, sometimes dumb as a sack of rocks! Ahhh, I love mom & daughter bonding stories. You are such a loving mother Autumn. More memories. I'm sure Maddy won't forget it either!
i can't imagine a cross country road trip like that although i did a few smaller ones with my ex (from michigan). he rode the brakes and they finally started going out as we drove down a mountain at night. we stopped at the nearest town the next morning and had the brake pads replaced.
well, i've overdone it today. 2 loads of laundry to get out of the dryer still. did more in the kitchen to save the veggies. there needs to be a name for "i'm not feeling like crap, so i'm going to do so much i will." susie could be the poster child or most of the rest of us!
