i know what you mean about the days blending together. glad to hear that you and dh had a better day yesterday and that you had that sweet encounter with your little neighbor. congrats on a new gk! hope you have good news to share soon.

a long night's sleep isn't happening again but i'm getting good sleep with good dreams just seems like when a dream cycle ends i wake. at least pain isn't waking me. just to clarify on penny's mishap, there was barely an inch of water in the tub. i felt guilty thinking about that! she's snug as a bug. hope my stomach straightens out, so i actually feel like cooking and more.

good day to all. wishes for relief and comfort for those with extra burdens.

Gram magus, that's adorable what the little girl did. My grandson did that one evening walking into a Soccer game . His grandpa is everything to him still to this day . Well he had to have sunglasses on like grandpa and then grandpa took his off and stuck one of the ear pieces in his month . Well he look at grandpa and look at his glasses and stuck one ear piece in his month . A group if people started laughing and pointed . It was super cute.

Me....... Let's see..... Bianca has an 8:00 app. And I have an 10:15 app for my back.

Then you guessed it ......clean , clean and clean . The kids will be coming in for the weekend . I have Miss Elsie's 1 1/2 over night so her parents can party with some high school friends that are coming in from Europe . Can you imagine coming from that far and lleaving early the next morning ?

Grammagus, kids are so funny with what they do and say. That's cute that she copied Ed. Ooh another Great Grandson, God Bless, I hope everything goes well with the delivery. How exciting. At least theres one little girl there with all those boys you have to spoil.

Serenity, why is your stomach so bad lately. Is this something new or is it coming from your meds?? I know my meds for my skin cancer make my stomach nauseous so I hope you're not having same. I'm glad the sleep your getting is good sleep. I'm glad Penny is ok and I do hope you feel better.

Susie, wow sounds like your day is a busy one too. . Is this a regular appointment for your back or is something new acting up. I hope it's nothing serious. Woman, I thought I cleaned a lot, you clean more than me, you need a day off from cleaning once in a while. That's nice that your kids get to party with friends from Europe. No I wouldn't travel all that way for 1 night, but it must be special or they are. And I know you love taking the grandkids.

I'm sorry, but I don't know who Bianca is, but I hope she is ok. I hope your Back appt. goes well. Enjoy Ms Elsie tonight but I know you will.

I had 4 hrs sleep which is normal for me, but I'm tired still. I sleep in a 90° angle sort of, can't lie flat with my back so I basically sit up to sleep. My lounge chair is comfy for me so I just can't stay comfortable long enough. My back is hurting with all this cold weather and that's great, we just lost power here.

Oh well, I'm not going to be here long, I have appt. with my skin cancer dr. at 10:00. Just so he can look at the one he cut couple of weeks ago. I have more surgery with him on Dec. 13 th but need to move because my nieces Bat Mitzvah is on 14th.

I talked to my dad last night and I'm very worried about him. He never says he doesn't feel good, hides it from us at all cost. He picked up the phone, said he didn't feel good, I asked if it was his breathing, he said no, I gotta go, I can't talk right now and hung up. Haven't heard anything since.

I'm worried sick,...I'm going to have my sister go there this morning and check on him. I'll pray for the best. I hope everyone has a low pain, low stress day.

i'm finally thinking i'm having an IBS flare. i thought it was from eating wrong, but after a week of intestinal spasms i'm about to give. i have one last herbal remedy to try before i make an appt. - aren't we all so hard-headed?!

Oh, Gramma, you must be so proud to be a 4-time Great Grandmother!! You are aptly named here as Grammagus! I have 3 grandchildren. They are little pockets of sunshine to think about every day! Do you feel the deep love for GGKs like we do GKs? Lord willing, I hope to be a GGmother someday!

Sorry for gushing on, everyone. My Mom doesnt see the great grandkids much. I wanted to hear Grammagus's perspective.

Serenity, is your tummy improving? I recall it happened after eating food that you rarely eat?? I think I prefer back pain over indigestion! Hugs!

Susie, if I ever reach equilibrium in my private life, I want to clean like you. I would love to be a little mouse and follow you around all day, to learn how! Youre my hero!

ME, yeah, that reaction from your dad, and hanging up suddenly, is a worry for sure! Please let us know how hes doing. I take it you live far away. Thats hard on you, Im sure. My backs been killing me. First time the cold weather has done this to it.

Im leaving in 15 minutes to drive to my daughters. She Facetimed me for the first time while I was writing this. You know, her hair looked as messy as mine. I am over my fear of Facetime!!

We will hunker down as much as possible and get through this cold together, OK?

I did take extra pain meds last night, but was careful. I guess its ok to admit that here.

I will check in and read the rest of the posts this afternoon.

Good Morning and TGIF!
This week has been tough and I'll be glad when today comes to an end. Looking forward to relaxing this weekend and hopefully getting out of the funk I've been in. Don't know why I've been so blue this week... maybe the time change and colder weather is bringing me down, pain has been high this week too but that's really nothing new. Whatever it is, I don't like it. I need happy me back!

I haven't replied much this week but was really touched by the kindness of Hippy and her husband. What a blessing they are. Praying for Jeb's healing and for Joanne as she has surgery today (I think).

Grammagus, I hope you have another good day today. Congrats on the new baby!

Susie, I hope for a good appointment. I wish I could still clean the way that you do. I love a clean house and used to be borderline ocd about it. When I got sick, I had to learn to let some things go. Still drives me a bit batty sometimes. :) Hope you have a good day!

Mary Ellen, I hope your Dad is ok. Please let us know when you hear something. I've said a prayer for him and that you can relax. Good luck at your appointment.

When my oldest cat was a just kitten (he's 13 now), he fell into a full bathtub. I had a large claw foot tub at the time and he liked to walk along the edge. He is a persian (long hair) and he looked hilarious, wish I had a picture. Thanks for making me smile with that memory this morning.

Dawn, have a great time with your daughter today. I guess you need my magic wand to make your back feel better today too!

Just had a plodding along today, actually turned on my TV and watched a DVD, He He about Zombies... Ummmm, called World War Z with Brad Pitt.... it was cool and. I like Zombie movies 8-)... Going to keep taking it easy for a while and try to get the body feeling a bit more co-operative than it has......

Nanbo has been released from hospital... Hmmmm,... very mixed emotions about that, as she should still be in there till a Care assessment was done, but that Doc (grrr) let her go home against the discharge nurses recommendation... Poor M n D are so stressed... sigh....

Oh Seek don't tell me ur another zombie follower! it seems to be everywhere! I can see how you feelings would be mixed about Nanbo going home, but one thing I do know if at any sign she's heading to where she was your folks will take of it right away. Bless them they do have to be so stressed and tired. Lets hope all is well and they can get the rest they need.

Toni, FaceTime is wonderful. It is a grainy image of your friends or loved ones on the ipad screen. Came with the ipad. I know there are similar technologies for PCs, but they may require camera on your desk. This one photographs you staring down at the pads screen. Everyone looks distorted and awful!!

Thank you for the heating pad advice, will grab it now!

Thank you for mentioning Philippines and Viet Nam. There will be so much suffering abd mourning on a scale we cannot fathom. 235 mph winds. Worst on record.
