Hi JC, there's no need to be sorry, but I'm awful glad that you let us know your home safe and sound. I'm so sorry that this appt was another disappointment in regards to not getting the things you thought were going to be tested done. On the flip side I'm glad this Dr was nice and from the sounds of it took his time & didn't put you through unnecessary tests. I'd rather (and I know it's frustrating) him order the correct tests in hopes of getting to the bottom of this rather than taking the easy route and blaming it on COPD.

What did he have to say about your troubled breathing, dizziness & lightheadednes? Did he suggest using oxygen in the interim, if not, why not? I'm sorry for all the questions I'm just concerned. I understand if your not comfortable answering that or answering what appts do you have to go to now as a result from today's visit?

Ok, 20 ?'s are over lol! I really hope your able to shut your mind off enough to relax tonight and get a great & peaceful nights sleep. Thanks again for letting us know your home safe and sound.

I am sorry they are adding on more appointments. That sucks. But hopefully they will get the answers you need. Get some rest and hang in there.

Damn it..
I've written ... numerous times.. trying to give a short summary.
And ended up deleting ramble after ramble.

He's still doing the COPD testing..
But.. doesn't think the problems are from COPD worsening at this time.

He's ordering a catscan checking for pulminary fibrosis.
( of course.. if autoimmune stuff..he thinks schleroderma in this instance..
Is causing lung issues..
It can be causing the cardio issues, as well. Including right side heart failure
( which can present as shortnes of breath)

It's so crazy. Before six years ago...when the worst of my pain issues started..
I'm wouldn't have understood most of what he was talking about.
After six plus years of studying me..
I didn't miss a beat of what he was explaining.


..I just deleted paragraph after paragraph of more rambling..

On the walk/talk test..my heart rate and blood pressure went crazy,,instead of my oxygen...

Anywaaay.. there's more to today's appointment and what's up..
But.. so much is just still speculation at this time..
Not gonna ramble on about it any more.

sorry for you that this is a long and tiring process, but i agree with lisa that it's nice that you have a thorough and caring dr who wants to truly figure this out.
i hope he does and that the solution will be clear.

Well I can't use the words I really want to right now. You can get away with it though in all the thoughts (rambles) you want.

I think you have every right to whine, get upset and vent. It doesn't matter how good your health care is, it's all still very real. Which leads to you not giving up.....you can't hide from it. There is always hope and like you have learned the lingo in the past 6 yrs, lots of info flows on DS. Remember RayRay....Rayfoof? She has schleroderma and is up and moving, when her condition had her grounded. She gathered much info on here and took it to the doc which led to a much better place than where she was.

I remember Cherry's jokes! The little turd left us after her surgery, hope she's doing well :)

hi JC please feel free to write as much as you want ...no need to delete here. i keep a daily journal and i am not allowed to delete anything, its because i want to know exactly how we're feeling at that particular moment. go with the flow let it all out. its healthy. and makes us feel better. no judgements here.

im sorry you have so many tests to endure. ill hope for strength for you to get thru them all and wishes for managed pain less stress and much rest.

I'm praying they can find out what this is. It's ridiculous that it's taken them so long to diagnose this.
