I never wanted to be that person who lived a dreary working life, missing out lime with family and life itself, Waiting for retirement to begin having fun, only to find themselves too ill to participate.
My job, which I took at age 29, gave me 6 weeks vacation time. 15 holidays, and paid sick leave. I worked there until I was 45 when they shutdown the plant. I used to joke that I took early retirement on both sides of my employment.
