For "other side" stuff I'd also highly recommend Echo Bodine and John Van Praagh; and for finding purpose, anything by the Dalai Lama, he got oodles of good books and his own youtube channel and website...

After reading embraced by the light I read many, many books on the subject just to see if what she described was what others also so & the majority of it was. Most confirmed what I had already believed based on things that I had witnessed with others. I find the whole subject fascinating. Dali Lama here I come lol!
