Use to go camping by myself, my versions of mini vacations. Forgot I travelled from here (S. Ill.) thru Indiana, Kentucky to Tennessee camping along the way to my sisters (Gatlinburg Tn) and back. I did stop to eat.

i have no problem going out to eat alone, and i prefer movies alone unless i have to visit the facilities and leave my buttered popcorn alone!

i love to share great experiences with others, but going alone also opens me up to so many new experiences that i love that, too. hey, a vaca is a vaca.

I love love love going alone to movies, driving across the country GA to Oregon and Florida to Oregon. Eating alone is just fine. Shopping alone is definitely the only way I will shop for anything but food.

Even though I am surrounded by people ( family ) I have always sought a quiet place to be alone. Most people that physically know me are always shocked because I will talk to anyone, anywhere about anything.......Never met a stranger....except for a few bad times.

Hubby used to travel 5 out of 7 days. Never was a problem for me. I had projects lined up.

Sharing things with other's is important and I relish those special times but then I need to quiet time of just breathing............
