watching Reacher this morning. What gets me is this time they just dropped one episode. This is such a great show. So intense. I am on done now with the first four episodes and it gets so good.
Last week, PBS had a great recreation of Mary Todd Lincolns insanity trial. Her son Robert felt she was a danger to herself. She was in there less than two years. Lived with her older sister till she died.
The modern day psychiatrists said she was bipolar II.
Kind of odd to think the Secret Service was originally just meant to deal with counterfeiters too... and more surprising to think that it took three assassinations before anyone thought it was necessary to task anyone with protecting the President.
