Presidential hopeful Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) released the most detailed Obamacare replacement plan among the Republican contenders.

The Walker plan repeals Obamacare and replaces it with a different tax credit–based system. While Obamacare's tax credits are tethered to income (lower earners get more help), Walker's plan would base tax credits on age.

Thanks for posting this. I like Scott Walker, but he's not doing so well in the polls. I hope he can gain some momentum.

I have have healthcare and can't afford to use it. I can only afford to pay the premiums. The good side is my annual exams are at least free. I just pray I don't get sick. I cancelled an appointment I made to see a specialist because I couldn't afford the $500 visit. Lord knows what the treatment would have cost in addition to that. I'll just have to keep suffering with my allergies. I'm not sure with Walker plan is any better than what I already have.

I run into the same problem...I often can't afford the co-pays, and end up cancelling appointments, but I keep paying the premium every month. Somehow it just doesn't seem right...

Sure. And the difference between 4 and 40 is a zero too. While that sounds like the innocent wisdom of a child, I hope she notices how very very different it is and should be, when you've lived and experienced those years.

There's a potentially helpful solution for people with a slow internet connection. If when you stream audio it pauses and starts again, the solution is to first download it, and then you can play it from your desktop. Many people on the user showcase post on soundcloud. You can download songs from soundcloud using something like this https://scdownloader.online Just paste in the URL of the soundcloud song. And you get a mp3 download. When it downloads to your PC, you can play it on your PC at full speed and there will be no stopping and starting. This one is for soundcloud, there are likely other ones for different services. A slow "dialup" internet connection can download an mp3 song in about 3 minutes, and you can be doing other things on the internet while it downloads.
