Because I am going to believe a silly looking site like that. Have you read any of the 1990 pages of the health care bill? I have spoken to many people in the healthcare field about the effects of this bill and it will definitely change healthcare as we know it. And not for the good for most of us.

While that site may look silly - under each myth it provides more specific information re what they are talking about. I think it's work a read.

The first time I went to that site, nothing happened when I scrolled over the statements. Now it's working. You can see why I wasn't impressed the first time...

Well, I'm just curious why my premiums went up for hubby & me, my deductible went from $2500/per person to $3,000 per person AND my percentage went to 80/20 AND my prescriptions no longer count toward by deductible like they did 2010-2011. I have the high deductible with the Health Savings account plan. I've had this kind of plan for about 5 years now. It used to be that once I hit $2500, my insurance kicked in 100% for everything. Not anymore!

You hear one side claiming one thing with facts and the other doing the same. All I know is my deductable went up a lot and I pay more for my health care, which is medicare. It is true also that it isn't easy finding a provider that is in the plan. The pickings are slim. With the Supreme Court taking on the health care issue (especially the mandate that everyone must buy health care), it will be an interesting three days.

I agree that the health care law was short circuited in some areas. IMO a public option would have been very instrumental in keeping prices and deductibles down.

Obama was fought on that one - and he caved. That is the major reason that I am no longer enamored with Obama.

I thought it was interesting that this site said nothing about the total cost of Obamacare. One of my news talk shows had audio of Ron Johnson talking to whatever her name is about the proposed cost to Obamacare and in fact now it is scheduled to cost much more (which is different than what we were told)
(I think Johnson was talking to Secretary Kathleen Sebelius but I can't claim 100% accuracy on that)

Great link, Jeff. Staggering statistics. I find it odd that Sibelius claims not to know what "waivers" he is referring to. How can there be that many waivers and the secretary of the department has no idea what they are? An inept program to say the least.

I currently pay over $4000 per year for insurance just for hubby & me. I've heard of basic family plans costing over $1,000/month this year. Very disheartening figures.
