It was described to me as sort of a statistical thing.... I don't remember any of the math though....

Quantum Mechanics describes the world of the very small. Sub-atomic. Even sub-proton and sub-neutron. The aspect of existence that gets very, very strange. Uncertainty, superposition, entanglement. Where observation changes the result.

Mr Einstein is in my list of top five coolest people in the universe. What a rock'n dude.

I know JAGS, I had a friend who's married to a physicist that keeps physics books in his bathroom for light reading....lol. Occasionally we'd talk technical and leave my friend in the dust... He's the one that got it all to click with me.


Still the concept is forever entwined in my mind with a book I read by Kurt Vonagut (sp?) in middle school.

unfortunately, e=mc2 is the single worst and destructive `invention' ever invented.

so, for me, he's in the top-5 worst humans ever to be born. i think the good folks in nagasaki and hiroshima would agree.

E=MC2 is a fundamental law of nature. If not Einstein, then someone else would have put 2+2 together.

What about the discovery of fire? Surely the good folks of Tokyo and Dresden (like the Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. connection?) curse the primitives for that one...

E=MC2 is a product of Special Relativity. At their core, science and sprituality intersect and most likely merge at or below (beyond?) the quantum level.
