Life. None of us are irreplaceable. And like Christmas Ornaments....some will get "broken" every year. I teach my kids that change is part of the beauty of the tree. Life is transient. Up to us to find the things to enjoy at the moment we're in.....even when it's something horrible like a divorce. Or nursing school..... Or kindergarten....(only my son may understand that one....)

I see people in some of the worst medical conditions imaginable.....but I try to pass that same attitude along. So many people are no longer with us....and my heart is decorated with their beautiful memory....

Hi all,
This is a quick update on Joyride. Right before Labor Day, Joy had a heart attack and went straight to a hospital emergency room She was transported to another hospital where surgery was performed and the operation was a success
She is out of the hospital and doing well, improving day by day. She misses being around and sends love to all her friends.
She's very strong and who knows, may even return to ds someday.

Boring. I've come back for a little and what the hell? This group (sorry, not the people of course - just the content) has kind of Stopped. And War and Terrorism (where I met her) is so STERILE. I HATED how people used to fight there - but I think I would take that over the crickets. WEIRD (to me). Very Strange how ONE person being gone (I'm sure it all has more to do with other things than HER, but just a weird coincidence) can create such dramatic changes.
