its hot and very humid here in perth but hopefully cyclone oscar can bring some rain our way

i live not to far from u i remember it was pretty painful thank god it is not as hot now although the rain it a great diversion i think we may have had enough of the unstable weather

I'm in rural SA, just over the border of vic :) and it's very weird weather at the moment, our summer is just not summer this year, but oh well. At the moment, it's warm during the day, then getting cold pretty quick, and getting lots of wind. Had HEAPS of rain at the start of the year, and has been flooding roads and the river murray which isn't good, but going down slowly thank goodness :)

Certainly not a usual Summer every alternate month was +250% rainfal averages. I noticed thisarvo that we again have Huge wet cumulus clouds all around. Road to Parkes was flooded but trafic able to get through.SOI has oscilated in a contracting triangle from high of 27.1 to 22.1 back to 26.1 down to 23.0 and now looks like it could again go north to @ 26 again before it will break down to more reasonable passative levels over winter.
Possible late season cyclone forming above Darwin but think it will peater out.
90% of 1-5mm tomorrow but next 28 days may be clear according to long range forcast. By my calcs April should be WET again. 'bidgee could flood again.

Winters are mild with nippy mornings but sunny and fair by mid morning. Summers are a stinker. 35+ from October to March.
