The Killing Season 4
DarknessEmbraced
Anyone else watching season 4 of The Killing? I've watched the first two episodes and am really enjoying it. I really like how what happened in the last season is carried over into the new season. I love how they spend the whole season on one case! I wish it wasn't the final season.

I recently heard a great 2007 song the other day, "Falling Slowly" because it popped up in my newsfeed, accompanied by the sad news that the male singer, Glen Hansard, just died in a motorcycle accident. I learned that the song won an award and was featured in an indie movie called Once. I just watched it, and it's really good. They made it in 3 weeks on a $100,000 budget. It's streaming on...

Thanks for the hugs ... my mom and I usually find shows to follow together like Twin Peaks, Game of Thrones, LOST, etc ... It's terrible when all of our shows are off at the same time though - we look forward to them so much!
(By the by, with the new season coming up in a few weeks, we could start a "Doctor Who" discussion thread, if anyone is interested...)
EmberBlue, if you're looking for another show like "The Killing", you may want to consider the British series "Broadchurch" or the upcoming American version called "Gracepoint". I can't speak of the quality of "Gracepoint" since it hasn't aired yet, but "Broadchurch" is fantastic and it's got that similar season-long murder mystery thing going for it.

Yeah, I'm so glad Doctor Who will be starting soon. I just wish I could rewatch The Day of The Doctor and the Christmas special because I wasn't feeling well when I first saw them so I don't remember them well.
I'd love to start a Doctor Who discussion sometime. It might take me a while to respond but I would love to discuss my impressions and interpretations of it and read what others have to say.
I actually dvr'ed both those episodes even though I watched them live and I'm planning on watching them again just before the new season starts... check your listings because they might be re-aired in the lead up to the new season start up. They might be able to be found online too but I can't guarantee that.
This is one of the many reasons I want to get a new laptop FAST. Another being that I never get computer access and responding to messages on Daily Strength is really awkward using my smartphone. When I actually get a new laptop I'm hoping to come on Daily Strength more often so that I can keep up with all my friends and support groups
Anyways, I'll start a Doctor Who discussion thread - that way us Whovians can talk about the previous seasons before the new season starts.
