I recently heard a great 2007 song the other day, "Falling Slowly" because it popped up in my newsfeed, accompanied by the sad news that the male singer, Glen Hansard, just died in a motorcycle accident. I learned that the song won an award and was featured in an indie movie called Once. I just watched it, and it's really good. They made it in 3 weeks on a $100,000 budget. It's streaming on...
Miley was playing a role? Possible. Any news is publicity. And shes definitely not looking like a Disney kid anymore, but a Mexican chihuahua, with a shock of hair on top!
I can buy Miley's claim that she's playing a role. Sort of the same way Beyoncé calls her on stage persona "Sasha Fierce". Miley's used to performing as a character anyway thanks to her "Hannah Montana" days, so it's not surprising she would consider her performer self as a different character to her natural self. I would think that sticking your tongue out all day every day would get exhausting anyway.
Maddy, Kaley's relationship with Henry Cavill (aka "Superman") lasted for like 2 weeks. The media got really excited the two of them went out together, but they didn't seem to have the same excitement over it. She started dating the new hubby not long after she and Henry broke up. Some might call it it a rebound, but technically she and the ne hubs dated longer than she dated Henry Cavill so I'd say not. Still though, pretty quick turnaround from dating to engagement to marriage - doesn't usually bode well for Hollywood couples, so for their sake I hope they are an exception to the general rule.
As for Sean Penn and Madonna, well yeah they spent Thanksgiving together I think it was, and with her kids as well so a lot of people thought that meant they were back together, especially since she just broke up with her boy toy. There isn't proof he's with Charlize mind you, they apparently were both in Hawaii for New Years and she may have possibly stayed at his place there but no one knows for sure. Apparently they both returned to LA on the same flight but they were not sitting together. It could all very well be circumstantial. You know how the media sees two stars in a general vicinity and automatically pairs them together even if there's no other basis for it. Same goes with Miley Cyrus and Kellan Lutz, though they seem to now be playing that rumor up for the publicity it's worth. He does have a new movie he's starring in, so he might think getting his name in the papers more will help promote it...
Oh and the cool thing about Ty Burrell at that impromptu wedding is that he signed the marriage license as a witness - so they have his autograph and he posed for pics with them. He couldn't buy them drinks though because apparently Utah has a law that a bar's owners or employees cannot purchase drinks at the establishment for others or something like that. But still, pretty cool to be able to say you had a celebrity at your wedding... When one of my uncles got married it turned out that Paul Simon was staying at the same hotel and he signed their guestbook, but he never came in to the reception unfortunately - that would've been pretty awesome if he did though!
