I don't know exactly where the subject saying came from but it was the first that entered my mind. The saying doesn't even sound appropriate in todays society.
I had a pet scan a couple of day's ago and now my left lung has lit up now but the rest of my body appears ok at moment. Pounding down rain in the Pacific Northwest today as it does almost everyday. It's noon now and I'm going to take some of my new and improved medication that was prescribed today. I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon making my best friend (my wife) a nice comforting dinner and relax with my two 8 year old cats.
I wish everyone the best and try to stay strong

I too live in the PNW-------the most beautiful place in the continental US, however, the rain, doom and gloom can become a bit much. But then the sun burst forth and life is good again.
Enjoy the snuggle with your fur babies. I have mine beside me on a heating pad!
