Thankfully I only go through this 3 times a day. Those hepa air filters for rooms really help and those ones you mount to the furnace even better, but pricey. I always "backwards shop" when buying room air purifiers, I price the replacement filters first since some are very expensive.

My DIL gave me a herbal product called Defend All. After a week taking it, what a big difference, none of allergies bothered me. Problem was she got it when she was out of town and I haven't been able to find it here.It was the best I found.

There's also a homeopathic treatment for allergies. There's 3 different combinations I could get that cover a broad spectrum of allergies. I had to do 3 drops under tongue 3x daily and after a week I adjusted dose. That work fairly well also. It's a little pricey too, but a small bottle last a couple months. The problem with herbal remedies is that people usually don't take them long enough. They take at times upwards yo a month to start to see results although usually around a week you can start to feel the difference.

Bee Pollen has also helped many people during allergy season.

I used to run room purifiers when I had swamp cooler, but the HEPA filters were so expensive I quit using them when I switched to a/c.
the a/c usually helps me with allergies, but the cottonwood floating in the air really got me this year!
it seems to be calming down some now
maybe i'll have to invest in a hepa purifier again just for the really bad times.
