This group is open to all who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. It is a safe haven where you can vent, cry, laugh, or simply sit back and read and gain inspiration from daily posts. You will make many friends here as we journey together. This is a place where hope will be offered on a daily basis. When you can go no further this group will help carry you...
I'm just throwing this out there because maybe there is an avenue that one of our members does not know about.
For example there is palliative care which provides all kinds of assistance. Something I would like to point out with palliative care is that I have a document from them that is DNR ( do not resuscitate ) you register through palliative care through your doctor. You can unregistered at any time. They make visisits , help with oxygen , house cleaning etc.
Most of us know about meals on wheels

my mother & father i was able to care for in my home. my sister i cared for in a wonderful care center.
these programs are wonderful for both the terminal patient and the caretaker! and if you don't like the care your loved one is receiving speak up or change companies.
i was able to care for 3 family members to the end with no pain and them able to keep their dignity,
also, medicare covers the cost :)
