I want to get a tattoo honoring my kids. I have a 9 month old son and one on the way. I want to start thinking of ideas for a tattoo for them. I want to be ORIGINAL....No foot/handprints! I have seen that too many times and I think its lame. I was thinking something like roman numerals of there birthdays or just something different like that. So...any suggestions or ideas???

I have a friend whose tattoo is her 2 childrens names written in such a way that they form a heart. It's really neat.

thats a tough one..I have a 2 dolphins surrounding a heart for my older ones...and I have 2 butterflies for my younger ones (long story there)..I think you have to decide what symbolizes them to you..

I know...it's corny, but I have footprints.
When I was a child my father would put me on top of his feet and dance with me, now that I have a niece I want that connection. So her footprints will be on top of my feet forever.

My sister in law has my nieces birth sign inside a dream catcher on her back. It's cute.
