The episode in question is from Season Six, Episode Eight, Tittled "Doubt"
"After a woman claims to have been sexually assaulted by her college professor, the accused academician agrees to help detectives Benson and Stabler by volunteering to submit a DNA sample for testing"
In the episode it is basically a he said she said scenario and we never get a confession or know the decision the jury come to as the episode ends as a jurer says "We find the defendant..." and then the titles role.
So what i am basically asking you Svu lovers is who do you think is the guilty party? I'm hoping to get a discussion rolling and people throwing ideas back and forth and maybe change or re-inforce my idea of who did it.
that was a tough call to make.............. she was a very disturbed woman (she even accused Stabler of inapropriate contact) but that doesn't mean that her professor did not rape her. im not sure what 'side of the fence' i take on this one!
To be honest i do think she is the guilty one, not only did she lie about the stabler situation, she also staged a suicide attempt knowing that Benson was on her way to see her, i don't know it all seemed a bit attension seeking to me.
However the way his daughter kept looking to him for prompts when she was being questionned, which makes him look like like a shifty character.
