I've heard that some people aren't happy about all the stabler drama that seems to be happening recently. I know when the show first started the show based around the stories and the backgrounds of the characters, i have heard that the writers of the show decided against showing the background of the characters, however it seems that they are doing it more now.

I remember one particular episode in which a teenager is getting beaten by her boyfriend and refuses to admit it to the police and so Olivia brings Kathleen to talk to the girl... i don't really understand this, there wasn't a direct link there.


Anyone else have thoughts on this?
