I wish I had known a couple years ago how important self care is in regaining one's strength.... in every way. Eating healthy, taking walks in the woods to get good exercise, praying & meditating.... all the ways to show ourselves kindness with good self care. Even taking relaxing baths with fragrant bath oils and having good hygiene is part of self care. All these things help us heal.
So be kind to yourself... focus on you and your healing and getting back on your feet. Best of luck to you.
Pendra, the best revenge you can give your ex is rebuilding your life and regaining your inner self. Never show him when you're feeling down or depressed. These monsters love it when they know they're having that effect on their victims. They feed on that knowledge that they have that kind of power over you. Keep your focus on YOU and getting well. When he sees you all strong again and independent of him, he will be furious that his plan to destroy you did not work. You can do this! One day at a time. It can be a tough journey, but it will be SO worth it! :)
The same goes for that disgusting piece of masculinity who is now your EX. abuser. And I know enough about him to not be afraid to describe him in such a way. But be kind to yourself. His callous words do not make any changes to the person you were before he utterred his vulgarity. You are as good now as you were before his condemnation of you, which only shows me his lack of control over the English language. There is nothing in what he says to take seriously however. It is all intimidation, which may be illegal where you live. Keep on going and don't sweat him. He is not worth the bother. :)
I think if you can go no contact then you will find some peace, any form of communication with them will end in abuse. Covert or overt. Please know that it's not you it's him, he's totally sick.
