I am out of two narcissistic relationships now. One with my Mother and the other a neighbor. I've seen the neighbor occasionally but it is extremely platonic. No way does she want me as anything else but an audience. But small intervals with that in mind help me accept her better. Mom is out of the picture. She has not changed much. I read a letter of hers. The proof was easily seen. I didn't reply. The neighbor is moving to another building in the complex. So finally I'll have some geographic distance from her. Be nice if a nice guy moved in. That is another story meant for elsewhere. But I am experiencing bitterness at times as I look at my life(I'm now sexty years old. Sounds better then sixty y o. :) ) But I seriously look back and feel as if my life was stoolen from me, not just by these two but by other secondary abusers also. I feel as if I just passed through and accomplished nothing. It is not right to blame myself because I did have a lot of fecal matter to contend with throughout my whole life. And I'm lonely quite often, though that might be changing a bit. At least it is progress. PS: I was here under another name before. I closed the account because I had to distance myself from the site for awhile. But I'm back and seeking answers and ways to make myself happy for the years ahead....become a tree hugger maybe? Nah. Feelings come and go. I,m feeling not too bad for now. Thanks for reading.
