I knew something was wrong. I've been with my husband for 10 years now, 7 1/2 of which we've been married. Over the years he has baited several women into texting/online relationships so he could "feel wanted and loved" the feelings "I wasn't giving him". Every time, I forgave him. Thinking he was really sorry. Just today, after talking with my therapist, it has all became crystal clear. I'm married to a Sociopath. He admits that he has no feelings of remorse for building up these other women and telling them what they wanted to hear so they would feed his need for attention back. He shifted the blame each time like I wasn't giving him what he needed, so he had to seek it from somewhere else. He threw me out of his moms house when I was pregnant with our son with no money and nowhere to go. I ended up in a homeless shelter for a few days and then he asked me to come back because he was sorry. He was still cold when I came back, and saw he might lose me so he pulled me back in. The lies are everywhere. From small to huge extravagant ones. I feel like an idiot for playing the "host" for so many years. I knew he had some mental issues and thought I could help him out of them. Before today's huge breakthrough, I told him I still loved him and wanted to be with him but he was "unsure". He can turn his emotions on and off with the flip of a switch. I should have know when I didn't see him shed more than a couple tears (which were obviously forced) over 10 years and some really hard times. I should have left the first time I saw his "mask" slip. I am in so much shock and hurt right now coming to terms that the last decade of my life has been nothing but an illusion.
