I joined this group a few months ago....when I felt like all hope was lost, like I would never find love, like I would never be able to move on from my pain. Every day I obsessed over and over and over again about the narcissist/psychopath that broke my heart. And although I am now taking xanax every now and then whenever I have a rough day, things have gotten significantly better for me. I just wanted to thank all of you for always supporting me, for answering my posts whenever I needed encouragement and strength, and for always believing that things will somehow get better.
I came from a dark place where I felt almost suicidal....like if I couldn't live without my ex, why even live at all? I felt at some point that he ruined my perception of love, trust, confidence, even my sexual comfort
Now after months I have finally loosened up and learned how to let go. My sadness has turned into anger, and I see everything clearly. I know now that he will never come back, and even if he were to come back, I would never accept him in my life.
I wish him the best, but I hope for the sake of others that he changes. I know now that no one will hurt me as much as he ever did, and that I can only look upwards from here.
Thank you all so much for everything. I am so thankful to know that there is hope out there and that things do get better over time. I hope that six months down the line I wont even remember his name or his face and that I will be in love again :)

I am amazed how well you are doing, you are so strong and beautiful and you are going ahead in leaps and bounds. Well done.
Hang on to your education stay smart babes and as Bella said follow your gut. We have three brains the one in the head, the one in the heart and the one in the gut. The brain is so busy with what ifs, ruminates and over catastrophes', the heart brain wants to believe there is good in everyone and will give its energy away for free your gut will always tell you the truth even if you don;t like what it is saying TRUST.
Stay with us everything you have learnt is so valuable and with your gut intuition engaged you will know when the right person to love comes along.
