Hi guys,
I am new here and will try to keep it brief, but I just really need some advice. I am still actually in shock to learn that I have been dating a sociopath with addictive personality disorder. I loved him so much and thought we were soul mates. He has lied to me from the beginning, about a thousand different things, to my face, with no guilt or remorse. The man of my dreams turned out to be the very worst person I have ever met. He has stolen from my home and absolutely broken my heart. I guess at this point, the details don't matter much, I just need to know how to deal with this and move forward, and know that I am not alone in what I am feeling. I loved this douche, and he has used me, abused me and thrown me out like yesterday's trash. If anyone can give me any tips for getting through this, I would be so grateful. Thanks guys
