My husband is a sex offender so they say . And all we want is to be a family and be happy and no one will leave us alone. Don't get me wrong there are sick people in the world but he isn't one of them .. I am supporting the ones who want to put there past in the past and go on with their lives..

Seek Yourself first: I cannot speak at anyone in this group , but only tell of what I have done to survive insanity,and unruly, and unsafe mindsets. First of all regardless of where you are in this situation , if you love the offender, or you are an offender, or someone was lied on, you have to live your life , and keep on going regardless of what people or anyone says to your face or behind your back , I have been out for 14 years, and did 10 years inside, my situation happened in Texas, and God Knows , that is not who , I am and that kind of person, but it doesnt matter to people , they will do whatever it is take all the bad things they do and feel good about themselves when an offender is around,and if you allow them to make your life miserable, thats on you, pray everyday for God to give you strength to walk away from a sin if you did it that is just like murder, or any other sin we commit , its forgiveable in Christ eyes , so It doesnt matter, Hell Lot had sex with his to daughters, because he thought there wasnt nobody else and this is Justified, although there were others , according to the USA Laws, God would have been an Offender, because Mary was no more than 14 or 15 when she had our saviour, its a wierd world we live in , so the best thing to do is to realize , what happen to you and if your guilty , cried to the lord, and if your not , do the same , because your in their eyes a monster, people love a scapegoat . be blessed and thank you for a place I can vent without being judged to harshly....

The best way to have a peer group is one person at a time. My circle of friends is small but I trust and love each one of them. Like brothers and sisters to me. They all know me now and I thank God that they did not know me then. I valued no one least of all myself. Now, 15 years later, I value everyone in my life and Its almost unbearable to let anyone go. Most people dont look you up. It's almost as if this was all an early internet fad..(thats not saying I havent been looked up on occasion, it's just been rare considering the number of people I come into contact with) having said that I'm a home contractor and I go to great lengths to avoid all appearances of impropriety and to keep my name off of official adverts or paperwork. Essentially I hide in plain sight. I have come to the aid of my neighbors when the floods came and have built a minor reputation as a stand up guy. Funny how that was never important to me before but now it drives me. I feel like I constantly have to prove myself..to myself. I have zero desire to re-offend and have sought out the face of God...probably because I know it works more than I actually believe to be honest...so perhaps it's all true. It doesnt matter. I walk the straightest road I can, mindful of everything I say and do. I stay away from women who arnt my friend already and especially children under 18 because I NEVER want there to ever be any question about anything. Im as active in my church as I can safely be and maintain an honest relationship with my p.o. Bad stuff could still happen to me. It's just the risk I have to accept. If your reading this, and your an s.o. I want to encourage you. I live in Houston,Texas and I have no problems...but I dont seek out crap..neither should you. If you still have issues, face them boldly and honestly, be honest with yourself about your motivations and look for ways to change. As far as society goes..screw em. Be the best you, you can muster and dont isolate yourself. Get a dog. I swear I had no idea how much love I had to give until I got a dog.
