I noticed that too patti22 a few of the other groups seem to be ok as well its the war and terrorism one that seems to really bad

Hey sweets... I think DS is still trying to work out bugs ... and there have been several reported... I believe that we will be having a call with DS soon... I don't have a date... My boss there has been working day and night however we have been reporting a lot... There are things we've been reporting for months... The CL's went onto the beta site in March... So I'm hoping that we'll be able to talk with DS staff soon... Big hugs... I know that right now things are rough... xo

@Sun, I get that. Personally, I think that timing the move right before the holiday weekend was...not the best... For the most part the order of posts actually does seem to have been worked out. The really old post on W&T is only bumped to the top because I commented on it. (The irony of how those posts have been just in the last few months been moved to "off topic" was just too much for me. ) I'm also a bit peeved because the DS admins seem to think that a post copied in entirety from another source (plagiarism?) is on topic, even if the poster doesn't post anything about how it's affected their own life ....at all..............Heck I'm almost the ONLY one logged onto that board most of the time. I've never started fights with anyone...it's hard to not take it personally.

Patti please don't think it had anything to do with you... It didn't... I haven't been involved in that however I do know that it was discussed to have discussions there under categories due to the terrible fights that used to go on within that board... Some members are no longer here and it isn't about a members topics ..just what the topics are and the intent was just to help to hopefully help to calm the waters... I hear you re off topic posts... They're often not seen... I often forget the off topic posts myself.... Big hug ... Please don't think it has anything to do with you... It doesn't....xo

Oh it's personal. I'm a slow learner, but it's very personal.

when ONE board, where I am virtually the only one posting on, is treated differently from other boards...it's personal. Especially when that ONE board has a stated purpose as support for those affected by violence. So a post about Orlando is moved off topic on that one board, while it's allowed to stand on bipolar. You should remember, Sun, you posted on the bipolar board. I suspect, that of all of ds's problems the issues with the W&T forum (which fish specifically mentions in his list of issues to address with DS!!!) will be among the first fixed.............But hey, it's not personal....is it??!! (Probably a half dozen other boards also discussed the issue.)

I log on this morning and of all of the support groups I belong to, only one has another member logged on. Sad, just sad. Later on I expect two of the boards to be active. But that's about it. Meanwhile, I think about posting to W&T...about my fears that my son might one day get shot at as a firefighter...but I'm sure that DS will soon enough make a special off topic section to push the single new post in a month...off topic.

Because hey, someone trying to start a fight might get upset about it. (Which didn't stop the Widows and Widower board from posting about it... and no one's suggested that that be moved off site...)
