I am sorry that your friend is moving, it is like part of your family going away, I know that the distances are vast in the USA, In the UK we can drive anywhere within a day, that is North to South, East to West I imagine would be just over half a day. Sorry to ramble on, I do feel for you,
Blessings,
Mary - England
I know how you feel, when I had to move from the Keys to Miami, and then from Miami to Fort Lauderdale, I lost friends, but we still keep in touch via mail, phone, etc. I know that is hard to loose good friends, but unfortunately, is part of life.
Hun, and BTW, tell your BF that he needs to buy a ring first, and then he needs to work very, very, VERY hard in order to get married at Disney. I worked for Disney for 15 years, and I did Disney weddings, and the cheapest one was $45,000.00, and that was back in 1999 when I stopped working for them, so now that 45 thousand dollar wedding is probably $80,000.00 or more! Getting married in the Disney ship is a cute idea, but the cruise if you are not bringing kids; is really boring. I went on the first two when they came out with them; the "Disney Magic" and the "Disney Dream", and honestly, I didn't like them. I LOVE to cruise, and my mother and I are veterans when it comes to cruising, and a ship that doesn't have a casino, is as good as trying to swim in a pool without water, so tell him to do it on board one of the Carnival or Royal Caribbean cruise ships, those are awesome, and you two will have an awesome time!
I'm sure you guys will keep in touch tho.
congrats again on getting married. I'm excited for you.
I hope you're able to stay close and see each other from time to time.
