I talked to my RA doctor abount how my pain is just keeping going up and it seems like there is no end to it. He wouldn't changed my pain meds but he did prescribe something called Cimzia. Which is a shot that you give yourself at home. Right now I am waiting on my insurance to authrorize it to see if I can afford it. I have a patience assistance card that covers up to 500 dollars per month. So I am not sure if I will be able to afford it with that or not. But I am trying anyway.

My vacation was kinda fun. I ended up getting hit with a mirgrane on Saturday night and then fell in the bath tub on Sunday morning. But beside that my vacation was good. :)

Arthritis pain is hard to cope with. I have osteo and I think some RA as well though it has not been diagnosed. Either way the pain is bad and I do hope that you get the med that you have been prescribed.
Good luck with the med.

Glad you had a good vacation despite the migraine and the fall. I think it is great to be able to get away for a bit.

I have the osteo too...it sucks big time. I don't know anything about the shots...but I hope you get the pain relief and the treatment that is positive and caring and helpful

i have a sero neg inflamatory arthritis and the pain just seems to get worse for me as well as time goes on. Sorry you got whopped with a migraine on your trip. i get those they make me nuts. i've had chronic migraines at least two a week for about 7 years now. I competely understand how not fun those are.

I hope you can get some relife from those shots.

I am glad you have a good RA doc, and I am glad he is helping you treat your pain. I know there times it feels like it will never end, I feel it will never end too. I hope stupid insurance okay's it, insurance is worthless I hate them
