After 2 days of terrible pain following the steroid shot in my shoulder, I was a little better today. So instead of taking it easy and encouraging my body to continue to heal, I gave a haicut (don't tell my doc) then spent the afternoon preparing for a yard sale. I did way to much reaching to retrieve a hundred coffee mugs, vases and other foolishness not being used. I washed several sinkloads of stuff...no dishwasher. I tagged things and made a cluttered disaster of the downstairs with items ready to be hauled out to tables on the porch in the morning. I had to stop long before even starting to sort through clothing. My back and neck are in complete spasm. I drugged myself up pretty well in hopes of some relief.

Instead, I forgot to put something substantial in my stomac and ended up shaking, feeling horrbly dizzy and throwing up. I had one of those scary moments when I thought someone would find me the next day.

I need to slow down and pay better attention to what my body is telling me.
