To all of my beautiful friend here- I know that all of us here on the east coast are feeling this storm. Who needs the weather channel when you live with chronic pain?! For most of us it means off-the -charts pain levels. Just wanted to send some warm hugs and support to all who are feeling the storm- please stay safe and do whatever works for you for some relief!!

That is such a sweet message...thank you! I sure have been feeling the oncoming storm. It's been a particularly bad day and the storm hasn't quite reached me, yet. After midnight, the fun begins. Tomorrow, we're supposed to have flash flooding. 5-7 inches of rain with high winds.

This does NOT happen in northern Vermont!!! We're quite familiar with tons of snow, but not hurricanes!

I'm really on edge...

I thought it was just me. With the impending storm, my pain is off the charts. Meds aren't touching it. :(

If Irene is any kind of a lady, she won't wear out her welcome (?) Not that she ever was welcome, but you know what I mean. Bracing for the worst and hoping for the best.

I'm in s. Illinois so no where near this, but I've been keeping my eye of this for the past couple of days. I'm worrying about my roomies so much getting hit by this storm that I didn't even think about it causing extra pain. Sorry about that.

I'm near the Mountains of Western NC. We got a little wind. BUT the Barometer still caused pain to hit highs!!

Im with irocket, i've been so worried about you guy's roof comming off your house i totally forgot this weather must be painfull!

i've been watching the news and thinking about all of you!
