I went to the PM yesterday. We decided to switch from the fentanyl patch to opana. Kinda nervous about that, but I have been on the patch for 9 months and I am sooo tired on it. I ws worried about withdrawls but so far (took patch off at 5pm yesterday) so good. the pharmasist said I may feel slight withdrawls because fentanlyl is hard to come off of (even though it is going from one opiod to another) and the opana dose was lower than the fentanyl. Took my first opana at 9pm and slept really good. I am sooo blessed with an awesome amazing PM team. They actually gave me the script for both opana and fentanyl and said if the opana works just shread the fentanyl script. They trust me so much and always listen to what I have to say and not only ask my opinion but truly care about my opinion. I don't know what I would do without them. I have been with them for 5 years and can not stress how important trust is with your doctors esp PM doctors.

So we will see what today brings. I don't have much to do. Working at Maddy's school library and that should be it. Hubby made sheppards pie yesterday for dinner (YUMM my and the girls favorite meal) and I made a homemade raspberry vinergarette dressing and an awesome salad with all kinds of good stuff in it. Soo it is leftover night!!! Tomorrow we have to go my 16 yr olds boyfriends b-day party. They have been together for 2 years so I guess we have to go but it is only going to be family so it will be a little akward. It means a lot for Mandy and her boyfriend that we all go so we will. He is a great kid (thank God!!!)

LMAO< LMAO Autumn!!! I had to read your post twice (my brain, not your Post!! At first I thought you had a 16 yr. old boyfriend. Whew, I was wondering for a second. LOL So great that you have such good PM. Our FNP tries very hard and totally trusts us. Even gave us an extra month between Med checks this time since we'll both be on Medicare if she'll wait that extra 30 days. We've been paying as we go. But she is not a pain specialist so is hesitant to prescribe many different meds unless recommended by a specialist. Then, she is fine w/ managing our meds. And of course, we haven't been able to go to any of our specialists this yr.

I'm feeling better this morning, so far. Got a pretty good night's sleep and getting ready to go take care of pups. The morning duty is the worst as they've had all night to make a big mess. And they make sure they do. LOL Tomorrow morning they go get their shots and spend some time at the Pet Store to see if there's some interest in adoption!! I want them to go to good homes but am ready for at least part to move on. They need individual attention now and though we're trying, its hard w/ nine of them!! It should be interesting transporting them, LOL!!

Other than that, we have no big plans. The weather's supposed to clear up and be warm. We've had the strangest winter here in NC this year!!

Good morning. I'm going to be doing laundry and packing up my suitcase today. I'm leaving the comfort of mom's house in FL to return to my cold dungeon in MA. I can't say strongly enough how much I dread going back. On the plus side, I get to spend a few days with my daughter before she returns to college. Then who knows what I'll do . . .
