Going through my morning routine. Temp. went from 60 to 30 around here. I look forward to each day, but working in an unheated building.........
I hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
David.
I think I over did it as soon as the pain lesson in my foot I got up and started walking way to much and now it is hurting again GRRR... My dang impatience and wanting to get back to normal LOL what ever that is. I just was so dang sick and tired of sitting around when I have so much to get done.
I did go out to Meijer yesterday and my son pushed me around in a wheel chair just to get out of the house and he was looking for a DVD and we found it but it was 60 bucks as it was a box set it was called Band of brothers and I found it used on Amazon for 26 bucks so I got it for him for xmas.
My mom is coming by to pick up laundry today and no she has been doing this since I moved out 20 years ago she loves laundry and I hate it so it works. It isnt just because of the surgery and it is piling up she better get on the ball LOL just kidding
Hope everyone has a great day.
I'm off to take my son to his first counseling session....I hope it goes well and we both like him/her.
Cherry, I am so glad that you got a little reprieve. I, too, wish it was two days in a row. I think sometimes though that one day is granted here and there just to keep us from totally losing our sanity! I miss snow at Christmas but, only to look at. I am so thankful that I am not trying to walk my fluffy butt through that mess. I hope you are able to make it through yoru day.
Dave, an unheated building?? Icky Icky Icky. I hope you are able to brave through it without too much misery my friend. I might just set someething on fire if I was there.
Manny, REST your foot! I promise that things will return to normal before you know it. Take advantage of this right now. It is so cool that your mom does the laundry...just because she wants to. My mom does stuff like that for me and, I always felt bad but, now that I am older I truly just understand it is soemthing that she WANTS to do so, I stopped fighting her about it.
Dixienme, I hope you have a good appointment with your son. I was fortunate enough to get great counseling staff right off the bat with both my kids and myself.
ME>>>Today is finish some stuff for Christmas but, I can do it from my bed so I am very grateful. My broken glass, crunchyness feelings are back in my upper back....GRRR, I wish that would stop. Anyway, I look forward to winding down now that the first of the month stuff is done, Xmas stuff is done (except for baking of course) and, the boy had his birthday yesterday. Now, peace and quiet. HUGS my friends!
Colorado is just beautiful with all the fresh snow we have been getting the last six days or so. The Christmas break skiiers will absolutely love the powder to ski through. I can see Pikes Peak out my kitchen window and it is just gorgeous, alot of snow on it.
Sunsettz- how wonderful...A Christmas baby, I bet you are sooo excited!
Manny-Can your Mom stop by my house and pick up my laundry, too?? You have a very special Mom to that for you. Anytime she needs more, have adher stop by,LOL
Ducky-Enjoy your peace 'n quiet.
Cherry-glad your meds are starting to work.
I hope that everyone has a good day with low pain.
My fibro flare up is FINALLY getting more bearable. Even with the snowstorms we have had, the pain isn't as bad as last week, so i guess that's a good sign.
Lots of love and gentle hugs,
MaryKathryn
Cherry sounds like there is a chance your med change might bring you some relief. I say if you are sleeping it is good. Just don't worry about what time of day it is. I know this is your busy time so I am sending up some extra positive healing thoughts.
David I know about the 60 to 30 degree thing. We had it two days ago. I call it the "pain roller coaster".
I hope you can dress in layers to stay warm in the unheated building. Bet little Rocco did not enjoy his trip out today.
MK I imagine you have lots of photo opps with the snow in Colorado. I am glad to hear it isn't bothering your
fibro too much.
Dix bet you tossed and turned over the appointment today. Hope that goes well and that you can go home and take a nap after.
Becky I think you and Tipper might be the same. You both can't sit still. It is very important to do what the doctor tells you to do. Of course you know. I know you are trying but........try harder. Like ducky said the time will fly. Wishing you something to do sitting down or reclining. Maybe you need a blindfold so you can quit finding things that need to be done.
Wishing all here and those who haven't posted today joy and peace.
hippy
I couldn't sleep last night and as soon as everyone was gone I dropped off for several hours.
I got our tree up yesterday but didn't do myself much good doing it. I was feeling pretty bad last night. I was feeling pretty defeated after having my ass kicked by a Christmas tree.
There's a front comming in today sometime soon and it's going to drop to 15 this afternoon. Probaby get some snow but it doesn't sound like much. I just hope we don't get the high winds with it, I can take the cold but the wind really makes it miserable.
I seem to be getting over whatever that crud in my chest was. I still feel run down but I guess I always feel like that anyway.
I'm just going to enjoy the peace a little longer. Everyone should be home in a few hours and it will probably be anything but peaceful. Maybe that's why I keep feeling irratable at night. It's quiet all day long and then BAM!, it's loud and crazy. Hmmmm, not sure.
I'm not feeling to great right now, my back feels like a pretzel.
I hope you're all doing well today, or at least so so,
Mike
I am tired today and headed to a nap. My house is quiet so I ha better grab the opportunity. Mike, I undestand how you feel about the BAM in the afternoons.
Went to eye dr yesterday and my pressure is high and I have iritis in my right eye. I was wondering why it hurt so bad and was so red. Prednisone drops for a month and then return. I was really discumgrubulated in their office---couldn't pick up my stuff, kind of shaky, prob from lack of protein but they were really kind to me and helped me relax.
I am just finishing off some cream of tomato soup and will work on a protein shake. Don't worry, I just had the cream and not the tomatoes.
A friend of mine just dropped off some beef broth which she made. This lady is so kind to me.
Speaking of kindness, I appreciate you all so much. Thinking of each of you today. It is still very cold here and the air quality is poor.
They don't want people to burn their fireplaces. The bad air may partially explain my hoarse voice although I think it is mostly from the intubation tube.
Nig hugs to everyone,
Melinda
my kid let me sleep a nice long 11 hrs last night. i plan on a nap too if he will let me take one after lunch here. im tired! lol
pain still really bad. i have an appoinment next week to adress it. i'm going berzerko.
its really good to see how everyone is doing!
hugs
I want to be positive and happy, but I am so tired of this dragging on and having no energy. I didn't anyway but this has made it so much worse. The coughing has made my muscles in my neck and especially running up to my ear and it is even hard to hear. I feel like a mess.
Hugs to all.
The CD will contain all the evidence that has been provided to SSA regarding your application. You are supposed to go through it and make sure everything is correct. It took me a couple of days to get through my daughters' all the way. Anything that was incorrect, I made a note of the exhibit number and the item with the correction.
I hope this helps you and anyone else who gets these.
HUGS to you!
