I am getting ready to go to the psychologist for my spinal cord stimulator evaluation.

I have been very anxious this week in anticipation of this appointment.

I get myself in a bind, with my mind racing about all the what ifs, but I feel better today. I am excited about this possible pain relief. I'll come back this evening with more info.

You people are my second family and I have true friends here and I thank you.

I wish you the very best. If you can, try to just stay relaxed, be yourself, and be honest, and it'll be just fine!
I have a question, and please forgive my ignorance here....but why do you have to have a psych eval in order to get one of these spinal cord stimulators? Just curious, and wanting to understand.

Good luck. Just being yourself will show them how great you are and that there is no reason you shouldn't get the procedure you want.

Oh this is your Phych exam. no biggie. I've done a few of these and they really are'nt any big deal.
You will do GREAT! Don't let this get to you. Just take a big breath..................................................ok let it out.

I'm back home and it went good. I was with him for two and a half hours. Of course I won't know all of the results for about a week, but I feel good!!!

I also spoke to my nurse from W/C and she sounded positive toward the trial SCS.

A weight is being lifted from my shoulders, I can feel it.
