good luck to you, i hope its as smooth and stress free as possible.'
hugs to you
Also, I left a message for the lawyer and hope to receive a return call today. There isn't much else I can do at this point.
I'm going to try to do one client today, but I'm not sure how I'll manage. The pain has taken over the whole right side of my body from my neck down to my foot.
Done whining,
Cherry
The attorney that voc rehab told me to call wasn't any help. I have to do it on my own and be denied twice first!!! I don't have any fight left with this amount of pain.
And...I finally had my call returned from my doc's nurse. I have to wait another 24 hours to see if the patch starts to work. WTH? Shouldn't I know b 48?
It's been a horribly painful, discouraging day. I'm ready for it to be over.
Then keep one of your own thoughts. Hey, it's tough, but hang in there--you've got people on your side!!!
(Gentle) cyber-hugs,
Jenna
In this area, attorneys insist you be denied on your own...twice, before they think there will be a payoff big enough to compensate them....grrr. My Brother is an attorney in San Fransisco, but doesn't practice this kind of law. It's not like he'd do me much good from the other side of the country!
Gentle hugs,
Cherry
My advice to you would be this; how long have you been in this pain? Your Doctor asked you to leave your job, right? If you have enough years of records, and your Doctor backing you up for disability, why do you need a lawyer? I applied for social security disability on my own, in my home computer, no lawyer, I just had every single piece of paper that they needed, and if they needed more, I would take it personally to the local social security office, guess what? I was approved within 6 months, so the 2 years and 6 months of back pay came to me, I didn't have to share it with a lawyer. Try to apply on your own first, if you get turned down for whatever reason, then find a lawyer and have him do the re-applying, why share your money if you can do it on your own? This is all of the advice that I can give you.
Take care,
You want to get copies of everything. Get them for your lawyer and keep copies for yourself.Nothing is too small to keep.
Have a doctor that is willing to stick it out witj you . I would ask him right away.
Best wishes,
Toni
you may need a friend to get online and help you with the forms tipper is talking about.
I agree with you that this needs to be fast tracked.
