Most of my pain issue now is back muscle extremely tight, won't loosen upat all,and nerve pain/neuropathy of my feet and ging up my left leg,no reflexes in knees and 1=in my ankles.failed spinal syndrome.I've been on vicodin for quite a while now and flexertl for a few years at bedtime,I've been on the butrans patch sense the 27th of may the first week went well then there came along personality changes and no relief from the patch,so I started taking vicodin for break through that works so far together.Gentle hugs.

I have a suggestion for a different sleep med. I used to take trazadone for sleep untill it stopped working after a year i think. Then my GP put me on amatriptaline and i was getting the best nights sleep ever. Maybe you can talk to your doc about a trycyclic antidepressant. It also helps the pain and my mood. Its an amazing med it just gives you really bad daytime drowseyness when you first start takeing it.
Sometimes my pain meds don't touch my pain. If this continues to be a problem i would talk to your pain doc about a different long acting. But for now it could just be switching meds is causeing a bit of withdrawl (insomnia and increased pain) or it could just be a bad pain day.
I hope you get some sleep and lower pain levels soon

I haven't cancelled my clients for tomorrow morning, yet. I don't think I can even talk on the phone right now. Takes forever just to type.
I'm a little scared and don't know what else to do.
