I have been gone from DS for a couple of years - I think.  When I logged back on, this is the first group I see on my page with the cute little kitty cat avatar and the "Sunny and Peaceful Skies" title.  It just seemed to  call out to me.  I don't remember when I joined this group or who invited me.  I can't remember the general premise of the group but I want to know and I am glad to be here.


Does anyone know me or should I just jump right in and act like I belong here?


Anyway, thank you all for having me.  I'm looking forward to finding out more about you all.

Your name seems familiar to me as well. Did you possibly post on the chronic pain site?

Hi bill and kelly, I was on chronic pain and RA. I'm wondering if I met Laurie on the RA board when I was first diagnosed. Either way, it's nice to meet you all. I joined DS in 2010 when my mother died and the bereavement board was a great comfort to me. Then I just stayed. The site cross over was difficult for me but recently I find myself missing the friendships and support.

Hope it's a great day for everyone. For me, it will be a hunt and gather day. i.e. banking, grocery, car tags, pharmacy etc. I'll go out and hunt down what we need, gather it up and bring it home. My husband seems to think I should handle my responsibilities before I take off to the river for a few days of glamping (camping in my beautiful camper). No sleeping on the ground for this old chick. Sigh!! He can be so closed minded. HA!!

    DS, I just have to say that if I did not love my friends here on DS I would be gone in a heart beat!  I am at my wits end of losing posts!  It seems like the Gateway thing seems to be a you problem.  How can we fix it?  I always make sure that I am online and signed in before I hit send.Welcoming any suggestions other than the ones that I recieved before.
