It still can be that type of group, but I feel I need to state the following: I still believe in Suboxone for opiate abuse, but firmly believe that it should only be a drug that should be prescribed by a doctor that is an addiction specialist. Has anyone been on the Suboxone Strips yet?

I was wondering if anyone has been on the strips yet? We are now on the strips instead of the pills now and they are absolutely so much better!!! With the pills you are swallowing at least 40% and losing that much of the medicine and with the strip you get all the medicine. It goes under your tongue and is gone in about 1-5 minutes. Some say 30 seconds, but it has never been gone in that short of a time for me. It hasn't come out in the Subutex form yet, but I hope they do soon for those on Subutex. I hope I get some feedback!!

Glad to hear that, what miligram are you on Dan? I was on 24mg for 3 years, but my pain is getting worse as I get older, I am on suboxone for addiction/chronic pain and will be on it forever, so I got upped to 32mg and since I have been upped, my pain has been alot better! Thanks for responding, seems like we never have anyone talking here!!

Did you ever get dizzy when you had an increase of the suboxone. I increased this morning and I actually feel high. I hope that goes away.
I agree the strips are great except for the soreness it has caused on my tounge. This is said to be a side effect and I just need to find out if there is something I can do for it.

Hi I'm new here and first I want to say thanks in advance for any support given. I'm here to listen and help in any way possible :) Thisis my 2nd try at syboxone . I tried a 4mg strip once and couldnt get past the horrible taste well then took the pills (didnt let them dissolve just swallowed) and w/out the taste I was okay I guess. I have to take an 8 mg strip friday and I'm dreading it. I'm wondering how they work I mean if instead of taking 4 mgs in the a.m. then the other 4mgs in the afternoon if I just did 8 mgs in the morning how does it last all day? Or does it? Would I be better off splitting it up or would it make a difference? Thanks for any advice :)

Yes i agree i am on the strips and i like them alot better, i did not even know there was anything out there like suboxone until i went into rehab they have been a life saver.

I'm on the strips, and I have sores under my tongue like you wouldn't beleive. Might have to stop with them. I'd rather endure that horrible taste than putting the strips on sores and feeling like acid has been poured under my tongue going to talk to my dr tomorrow. I ca't take this. anyone else have a reaction this bad????? Hope not...
