It still can be that type of group, but I feel I need to state the following: I still believe in Suboxone for opiate abuse, but firmly believe that it should only be a drug that should be prescribed by a doctor that is an addiction specialist. When I see there have been people get on suboxone and stay clean and happy it gives me hope. . I haven't been on here for a while.. I messed around with the suboxone but now I feel I'm ready to truely stop.I had 8 yrs clean coming off 17 yrs using ... I have to believe there is hope for me. I hope there will be someone sincere and will post some good advice and maybe even be there for some supprt. I will be looking forward to hearing from those who are really wanting to help.

I have been on pain meds heavily now for about 9 yrs. I got to the point I could take up to 20 Norco 10/325 in a day and not even blink. I knew I was heading for disaster. A friend of mine told me how they made medicine to help people with withdrawal symptoms and I did some investigating and found out about Suboxone. I don't think I would've ever been able to get clean if it wouldn't have been for Subs

I was taking 15 of those 10/325 per day so I can relate.

It was 5 pills 3 times a day. 20 is alot and I am surprised you are still alive. Just before I got help, I spent 3 days in the hospital with renal failure. It was Divine Intervention that healed my organs and made them start working again.

That was 12 years ago. Now I have a great life and I have never been happier.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
