The Bible unfolds like literature, and we follow the instructions like marching orders. The last orders supersede the previous ones. So the New Covenant (Testament) gives the design of who we are, what we do, and how we meet. What do you see in it, that can help us live better?

The promises made to Abraham. Land inheritance, all nations will be blessed, his name great, his descendances will be many, etc, etc.
How important are the promises made to our fathers to us? Are they even talked about in the NT? Should we learn them, should we even know them? What does it have to do with us?
Everything!
Romans 15v8 "Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the PROMISES MADE UNTO THE FATHERS."
To confirm, make sure, to establish. Paul is confirming to us the importance of knowing about the promises made to the fathers. Part of the reason why Jesus is coming back is to fulfill the promises to Abraham and to us.
Romans 9v3-4 "For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, AND THE PROMISES."
Gal. 3v29 "And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."
By baptism we are adopted with the family of Abraham.
Acts 26v6 "And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers. " That was Paul's hope and should be ours too. The hope of Israel.
Luke 1v54-55 "He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever."
v 68-73 "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy PROMISED TO OUR FATHERS, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,"
We even see all thru the OT on future prophecies on Israel being restored in the Kingdom when Christ returns. These are just a few...
Zech. 2v12 "And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again."
Micah 4v6-8 "In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;
7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
Micah 4v2 "And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."
Isaiah 51v11 "Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away."
26v1 "In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks."
Jer. 3v17 "At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart."
Rev 11v15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."
Luke 1 "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." We even see the promises to David in this verse too.
So we see Christ returning and fulfilling the promises to Abraham, David and now to us thru baptism. Setting up a Kingdom here on earth and ruling forever and ever.
I love Zech 14. It talks about the coming of our Lord. He conquers the world then sets up the kingdom here on earth.
1. "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."
9 "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one."
So you see the promises of our fathers are everything to us. It is Israel restored. Jesus as our King. And King to the world. All nations will be subdued. Peace on earth and good will to man.
God's plan and purpose right there, filling the whole earth with His Glory.....

God's plan and purpose right there, filling the whole earth with His Glory.....
And it says they (Abraham, etc.) were looking for a heavenly city. Not for Jerusalem.
It says that in the Old Testament were shadows and types, like earthly daguerreotypes vaguely depicting reality. Parables of earthly stories, showing heavenly truths. Such as about: vases, and grain, and trees, and wind, and stones, and mountains, and many other shadows. We do not need to return to shadows like: manna, and shepherds and sheep and walled cities and cisterns. Jesus has fulfilled all that. Hallelujah!
8 But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God(Jesus), is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You(Jesus) have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you(Jesus) with the oil of gladness beyond your companions."
10 And, "You, Lord(Jesus), laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands;
11 they will perish, but you(Jesus) remain; they will all wear out like a garment,
12 like a robe you(Jesus) will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you(Jesus) are the same, and your years will have no end."
Hebrews 11:8-10;15,16
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise.
10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God.
15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.
16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.
Heb. 11v16. The coming kingdom IS a heavenly one. IT is not from man but from God. God did not promise Abraham that he would go to heaven at death. Never once did God (God) tell him to look up. God (God) told him to look north, south, east and west.
Read again Daniel 2. You have to remember Tom that everything will be on earth. And the meek shall inherit the earth.....
In that day.... mostly talks about when Christ is here on earth. When does it say that he will go back up to heaven? It doesnt Tom. The bible.... says that he will rule on earth forever and ever..
[We do not need to return to shadows like: manna, and shepherds and sheep and walled cities and cisterns]
We are not returning to those shadows. It's not talking about the "law". It's talking about a future kingdom. A future reign by our Lord. Our promises and rewards ARE in heaven now. Yes. They are being prepared for us in heaven. BUT, Christ will give them to us when he returns. Just like scripture tells us. Our God is a God who keeps His promises too. So Abraham and us will get his land forever. David will SEE his throne restored. Christ will rule on earth forever and ever!! Hallelujah!
....To understand God's promises you must use both history and scripture together.....One must be present with the other to fulfill the real picture...The positive and negative must be pressed into one another to create the atom.....
....The promise is to the descendants of Israel....This promise of a jacking out of sin and a transfer from being a son of the world= a son of satan; and being jacked out of that and instead transferred to a Son of God....
....So to keep a proper perspective one must at least know where the crap they are.....That we were born in the darkness far under the kingdom of heaven....Born into the sin flesh, born into satan's kingdom....
....So we who who born under this situation were born in an opposite situation to those who were born in heaven.....Those born into heaven began their start in a perfect situation of no sin.....We born on the earth were born into a situation that is exactly opposite to this....Some born into a perfectly sinless condition still rebelled and fell down here....Some down here rebel and shed the sin that is jailing them destined for heaven....
.....So the whole of creation emitting from God has many of levels of creation....
.....History is written by the conqueror....Satan and his people set out to conquer and murder....God's people who stood up to the power of satan that they had become aware of stood against them and were slain off the earth....The great men of the earth are enemies of God....The murdered on the earth who stood against satan and his kingdom are God's people....
....So, Israel proper ( The bloodline Jew) are completely jacked even to this day as their disbelief is hindering them for the rejection of the chief cornerstone....Israel's religious leaders are fully jacked teaching law adherence and they are still jammed up in disbelief....
....The gentile who were the historic ones to stand on the side of Christ by faith through the years after Christ and his Apostles were removed; these have been the receivers in God's promise.....Satan and his workers removed them from the earth to hide what they were saying...Satan has no need to go after anyone who is saved and not fighting....Satan has all the need in his world(kingdom) to go after and remove those who attack his power base.....These are the ones opening up their mouths and yapping after a long silence.....
....Since the rumors you hear are true and the last fruit of the earth are on it....One last cluster will come in and the end will ensue....Believe me; the money and power people who are jacked plainly into the workings of satan are quite aware of this and are even literally going underground to try and hide.....It is IMPOSSIBLE to avoid prophecy that is already written....Taking scripture and history together should land you at a proper point on God's timeline....The end of the rule of satan....
....Almost zero bloodline Jews since Christ have been saved due to disbelief....For one cannot place a faith in something they disbelief....So the promises given to the Patriarch's did not take with the bloodline Jew....And now almost the whole land of the gentile's are bowing to satan and crosses and all kinds of stuff....
.....IDK?....I have been flustered at every turn for numerous years....How does one fight against the king and the kingdom you were born into?....How can one win?
Part of the reason why Christ is returning is to fulfill the promises. That's mentioned all thru the NT. There must be a reason why Paul tells us that we are in those promises too. That was Paul's hope too. The hope of Israel. To be restored again. God's Kingdom on earth.
Remember that God is going to fill the whole earth with His Glory. But first He will fill the whole earth the knowledge of the Lord. That will only happen when Christ returns. Something to look forward too!!
....But per Paul's teachings he made it clear that it was the inward circumcision that fixes one....This makes one Jewish not blood.....For he could of easily made the mention of taking a saved Gentile and pouring his blood into a cup and taking a disbelieving bloodline Jew and have him pour his blood into a cup.....Now take both cups of blood and pass them around and tell me who is the Jew?...
....I have really come to understand something clearly, which most of the earth is blind to....This is..That to leave out the unseen creation is leaving out almost all of creation.....The mirror is a lying tool.....!!!!!
....Think about it....from 18-30....Per the world....I was quite physically handsome and well looked upon by all.....God knowledge and information was pretty vague to me then and my closet was sin jammed!....
....Now I look in the mirror and am like oh crap!...Hair is leaving my head and growing out of my nose and ears!....My youthful handsomeness well faded replaced by aging skin and a beer belly and a bit of man boobs....( Not a grand physical body to get babes!....
....But that physical mirror lies!....Because the real me can only be seen by seeing my consciousnesses( my mind/my spirit)....This IS the light of men that comes from God making us different than a rock!....So the much greater consciousness/mind/spirit....He is the one who gave me this to live.....So why people are praying to earthly material is beyond me!...Doing such things proves to me such people are basically rocks because they cannot see God's light within and even make that greater being into a shaped piece of earthly material!
....IDK?
....One super excellent thing is that traveling across this country I ended up talking with a man who most certainly had a vision(dream) by night from God!....Basically he explained he was in the spirit during his vision and he saw satan who had jars of clay....He looked in the jars and they had human brains....He realized he was not supposed to be there and so did satan when satan saw him and chased him....I believe his claim to be true that he ( in the spirit) entered earths atmosphere with satan chasing and awoke while free falling and he swears his body was at ceiling height as he fell into his bed.....that experience scared him and he had to step back a bit because the facts and info he held was disturbing him....
.....Such things you never hear about in the mainstream world......For the mainstream world claims that such things cannot be....So for them the impossible is impossible.....But for those who believe that anything is possible; for these anything is possible then!
.....Why or how the real truth has been so hidden and twisted is really disturbing me....
.....Oh well!
I love Romans 6v3-5, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection"
It's too bad that the jews of today dont believe in our Lord as our saviour. It's really too bad. They even prophecy in Zech. They wont accept him until he returns then and only then will be recieve him.
.....They sincerely have not a clue to what the heck is going on.....However, the same can be said for the Gentile.....But for them they are surrounded by super carnally minded flesh lusting Arabs who want them killed....They are just as sin jacked as the Gentile and are praying to a wall of concrete and attempting to remove sin by making sure every bread crumb is removed from the house...Why they are doing such things makes no sense and they above all should have known better....
....But the believing Christians themselves are doing wild stuff....Why a believing Christian thinks it makes sense to bow oneself to the torture instrument used to kill God's Son is beyond me and makes no sense!...Let alone Santa Claus, Easter Rabbits, statues, lame-brained zombie church services, along with all the rest of the nonsense....Amazingly claiming Christians are worshiping Satan and calling him God, Jesus...Etc......
....So to really place things in a proper perspective....The believing Gentile and Jew is all that is in play....Christ says plainly what must be done to land on his side....1) Faith in him....2) Obey the Commandments......
.....The bloodline Jew cannot place a faith in someone they do not even believe was here.....
.....The massive amount of Christians plain as day just ignore God's laws and are jacked in believing the continuation of sin is fine; when it is not!.....
.....Like in the days of Noah...The people were going about business as usual and whack!!!!!!!
