If you feel alone or feel no one cares...many of us have been there, and many of us continue to feel that way.
This feeling is one of the worst feelings we can have, especially if we are used to having someone special in our life...someone who has been there for us...someone who we could go visit, call on the phone, or write to and think about.
To get this sad, lonely feeling to leave us, and to turn our heart and spirit around....to regain that spark we once had, we could do what many people do and go find someone...anyone just to be with...to hang around with...to spend time with...to talk to. But this is only a temporary fix...
We all need someone we can at least be with to share time and talks with...but this is hard to do for many of us. Many of us do not have anyone, or do not want to find anyone. Our pain is too great....our minds are not in a social mode at all, but instead we are entrenched with sadness and fear...this fear looming ever so strongly around us...overpowering us...we know that no one else could feel this terrible sadness and fear as much as we do, therefore we believe that nobody can understand....and this is sometimes true.
Each one of us has our own levels of emotions, and to some of us, a terrible life event would overwhelm us to the point where we believe our life is over.
To others, the same life event would not effect them as much...
So therefore how could anyone know the sadness, the pain and the fear that we are experiencing?
But we all can reach the same level of fear and sadness and heartache, depending upon the circumstances.
When a person reaches their limits and feels their life is no longer valid, this would be the bottom....hitting bottom can happen for many different reasons in different persons lives, but we all would be at the same level at this point.
Most people get through it...
I repeat, most people get through it.
I'll say it again...."most people get through it"
When we are faced with this feeling of lost battles and hopelessness, we are the most vulnerable...and at this level we need someone in our lives to be there for us. We can't function alone, we need someone to be our friend.
Whatever circumstance you find yourself in, someone else has already been there before you.
There have been millions of human lives on this earth before you and I, and most of them have gone through some sort of suffering.
Whether you are a believer or not, the Bible teaches that whatever is done or will be done, has already been done (the material things may have been different, but the acts and mind-sets were the same).
Our minds are very complex. We were all raised differently and our minds were trained to think certain ways by the way we were raised, by examples of others, of things that happened to us or things we've seen happen to others...by the ways we have been treated, by the limits and boundaries we were given or not given, by injustice and justice, by lack of, or abundance of love and caring... by so many things...
We all have emotions...some of us have very strong and outwardly emotions and others are in a box where nobody can see them. Emotions play a huge role in how we think, act and live.
Our experiences have a huge role in how we think. What most people do not realize is that we ourselves are the only one with the power to change the way we think, and that we can change the way we think. This is the key...this is the prize, the trophy, the goal each one of us must reach if we are to experience true peace and growth.
t is quite simple. For many of us it takes a very disturbing awakening in our lives to make us think about the things that normally we don't think about...the important things about our life and hearts, others lives and hearts, and where we are going from here.
Our minds are used to making decisions everyday...which food to eat....effortless ones like opening a door or sitting down. We have done these things so many times our minds are in an "automatic" mode.
