I have had a stasis ulcer on my ankle for almost 2 years. been thru 2 surgeries and a skin graph but it will not heal
I am so tired of the pain it brings daily.
I have taken so musch pain meds I get little help from them and wind running out to soon to get a refill.
Yesterday after 18 years of soberity from alcohol I almost went to get a bottle of tequilla just to kill the pain.
My family tries to understand but if you are not going thru it you cant understand. I hope they never do.
Hopefully someone will read this who understands and will reach out and share some words of hope with me

I don't have this issue but my brother does. His story is very similar to yours. He has had his wounds for 5 years now on both legs. I hope you are not still struggling to heal and if you are cured please share. My brother's doctors don't seem to have any answers either.

I know what your going through I have the problem on and off for a yr and now my ulcers are back with a vengeance last time I had them I have 4 now I have 13 every time I walk or whatever I am doing it hurts bad they are weeping constantly they burn and now was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes i use a walker and that is beginning to not work at times just so tired of this bull shit I am going to ask for a wheelchair or scooter.
