Kavenaugh should never have been confirmed.   The hasty, contentious process was stark evidence of the total corruption in the Republican party, and the haplessness of the Democrats. We are suffering from tyranny of the majority, in Congress.

I can't guage what effect this will have on the mid-terms, if any.  I don't recall when I started to pay attention to SCOTUS appointments, unless it was Clarence Thomas, and mostly they didn't seem important.  I assume most people are the way I was.
