Its the same stuff over and over. But he doesnt have a problem just likes porn. Whatever I really just wish he would leave I have so many other stresses right now. You would think he could behave until its done. My grandfather is slowly passiong away from bone cancer. When i confronted him on charges he just said I know i was dumb sorry Im stressed to. OMG like it matters Im really sick of it I am attractive in shape and deserve more!!
yes you deserve more...me too! and i wish mine would get the hell out too! just go away so i could have a chance to find someone who loves me and isn't a child who perfers to jerk off to pictures mooning over women he can never have rather than have sex with his atractive much younger wife...what a loser...
Maybe you need to make the choice to make him leave. If you believe he does not want to change or get treatment then you can decide to make a change. That very well may kick him to the bottom so he can get to see some truth. Mine said he would stop but did not even really try til his life was on the line. Did not want to play the "or else" card but I was at the end of my rope. GOOD LUCK!!
Temp: He may well not have a problem with porn...but you do. Now he has a problem with his relationship with you...and that is as it should be. Have you told him that you insist he stop? Maybe you should send him to a sexual psych for help while you tend to the other problems?
Yeah I'm with Sheenre, yes it is a problem, because its affecting your relationship. He is currently using very impaired thinking to justify his behaviours.
I am very sorry you are dealing with the stress of a losing a loved one. Your h's response admits he does infact have a problem.......
"When i confronted him on charges he just said I know, i was dumb sorry, Im stressed too." Thats why his addiction IS a problem. He needs to learn healthier ways to deal with stress, without shutting down and numbing his pain with porn.
This has been something my h has learnt in his recovery. I hope your h releases his compulsion, before he loses you.
You do deserve more :)
Great shares Trina and SheenRe! I NEED TO REMEMBER THAT I HAVE NEEDS TOO and a right to set boundaries that I can live with. I have been dysfunctional for so long that those leave me and I need to be reminded of them even after over a year of recovery!! Thanks.
Hi Cyn: Good to hear from ya! Hope you're doing better every day! I don't think that you're dysfunctional. I think that you're a very sweet lady who has to deal with some who IS dysfunction. I think that you need to quit blaming yourself for what you did't do. Maybe realizing that some people just can't accept a good thing when they see it, is dysfunctional. I think that you're a very good person. And, you need to shout it to the world! And, I think that HE needs to come to that conclusion...if he hasn't already...and that He should be very grateful to have a wonderful, sensitive, loving wife. And, when he does get that...he'll quit being "dysfunctional." Ha...ha.ha" target="_blank">ha.ha...ha.ha" target="_blank">ha.ha! You're being sweet...you're being strong...you're being supportive...you're being understanding...you're giving of yourself...your love...your time...your life. And that...Cyn...is a really thoughtful person! I so admire that!
Now, insisting that your mate acknowledge that...and even revel in it...is a correct expectation. That IS very functional!
