My fiance does not do this, but I do know that the image portrayed in the pornography world (even for men) is starting to show this. He may just be copying what he sees. Also (and I don't know if this is true w/ men) but I know (at least for me) it does heighten the sexual feeling.

I shave mine I think it gives a clean and nice look it makes me feel clean. Maybe that is why he does it? Its pretty popular with the younger crowd. My gynocologist said he sees 3 out of 5 now all shaved #:) Might want to try it sister.

My husband tried it years ago long before I knew him and it was a big ordeal for him as if you don't keep it that way he says when the pubic hair grows back, it itches like hell. I could understand doing it for odor and other hygiene reasons but personally I prefer a hairy man down there! :)

Hmmmm...no...my H doesn't do that and I don't either. Don't know if it's a porn thing or what.... Sounds like it to me. I had to be shaved for sugery before and I hated it...prickly and itchy. So, I don't want that. And I'd feel like a little girl somehow. I did then when I saw me naked like that. I laughed till I cried. Toooo little girlie on me for words....embarrassing to me! Just me though....!!! Seems like a personal choice. But, for my man to do that????? MMMMM! I'd think he looked like a sissy. I'd wonder if he was gay or what. And my H has a hairy chest too and belly and I like it. If he did that...I'd die laughing. He probably wouldnt like that at all. But again...that's just my PERSONAL feelings.

My h done this once too. It was during a period where he was fighting SA. He'd read in a magazine once (probably a porn mag) that the nakedness would highten his sexual responses, and thought it would help him during sex, without porn.

Can't say it made much difference, bloody ugly. But funnily enough he never did it again, probably had something to do with the incredible ichiness he had with regrowth. He looked like a dog with fleas.

I guess it's a generational thing as well! I don't know when I first did it...18 maybe? It was before I ever even had sex! To me it just seems normal to be bare! But not for him, ew. Trimmed, yes, shaved, NO!

Although I would once love for him to go get a full brazillian from my girl...oh he would cry like a little baby!!!

This came up on the SA board a while back. Might be worth searching out the thread.

Thriver is right, the consensus then was that in many of the current porn films, guys are cleaning up down there now. So perhaps the SA's thought they were emulating that, or at lest trying to see if it hightens there enjoyment. (as do ladies)

I was pretty sure he got the idea from porn. He came up with some stupid excuse about after he pees he gets pee in his hair when he puts it away. Probably had to think fast on his feet. It is amazing to me how much they actually belive by watching that crap.

My h does this. I thought it was normal but I guess that it might not be?? He is a sex addict though.

I forgot to mention that i remember h mentioning that by removing hair, that it gives the illusion that the penis is longer.

Yes it does make it look bigger also. But I don't think this has to do mostly with SA. I think alot of people feel cleaner without all that hair down there. I know that is why I do it and yes it does enhance the feeling of sex for sure because everything is exposed #:)
