Ok for the bra...go with crop tops like yoga tops with no underwire...the metal detector go off with them and iam pretty sure you dont want to have to take your bra off to go in!
Dress conservatively....think church so long sleeve top that gos to the neck knee or longer skirts loss fitting always! And ballet flats.
its always a good idea go take a few changes with you they can and will change or make up the rules as they go along! So be warned...oh and put a box of tissue in your car you may need them after.
just ware if your married your wedding ring....they can and will make you take off any bling you have on so keep it simple.
If all else fails call the prison and ask what you should ware on your vist be9there do not list isn't to clear....just dont ask about him or ask to send a message to him....they normally dont tell you anything about the guys.

@Webb, I actually found a great support group Strong Prison wives and families. A lot of daily interaction there plus we are just over two months into this sentence. We have a good "schedule" down now that he's at his final location. We scheduled calls and we are luckily enough to have CorrLinks email and his family is standing by him and have really welcomed me into the group the only area lacking is from my family. But my close friends are behind me. I really like the SPWF support website check it out there are ladies from all over!

In bedford where im from, we do half the time and a 1/3 off for pleading guilty does that happen where your from or does he have to do the whole 96. What keeps be going is waiting to see his face at the prison picking him up. Head up. Be strong for him and were here for you xx

He's in a federal faciity, fed facilities do not offer parole so they usually end up serving 85% of the time. The website current has his release set for 2023. :(
We did learn of a few program that take time off one year completely and the one year in a halfway house so that would mean I get him back in 2021. I'm hopeful who ever becomes the new president will look at prison reform and consider releasing nonviolent first time offenders but who knows. We email and we read books together I've made him "how well do you know me" quizes made personalize word searches etc. also the strong prison wives support page has been amazing! When is your guy supposed to get out?

You from America? Isnt federal prison like maximum security thats really harsh that he has to do 85% if its nothing major? The amount of money thet waste sending people there when they could use tag, he gets sentenced on the 16th i think were looking at 18months so in total about 6-7 im hoping he gets sent to a cat D prison where i can go see him whenever i like and he can come home for a day once a week. @Webb yes in America. no there are multiple levels minimum, low, medium, high, and max. he is in a minimum security and is free all day. and is a dorm like facility where he has a door and even has a "job" yes its harsh that he could have to do 85% of the time, there are some programs to reduce time, so we are just waiting for him to get into one, could take a year or so. but everything has a reason. what is Cat D? where are you?

In im England, what does federal facility mean? Sorry i dont get it lol, thats good that hes free all day and then is locked up here my boyfriend is out of the cell for like 7 hours a day cat d is a open prison its like a minimum security. And they will be able to come home and even stay the night once a week what is your boyfriend in for? X
