Spouses of Prisoners Community Group
Are you the spouse (husband/wife/partner/etc) of someone incarcerated? Each person's experience with having a loved one in prison is different and sometimes the specific support they need varies on their relationship. Parents, siblings, children, spouses... they all experience it a little differently.
I never thought I would be able to say those words. We got the news today. He had his second board parole meeting. He will be coming home on or around November 10th. He's been inside since September 29 2013. I can't say enough how excited and scared I am feeling right now. I want him home but I'm terrified. Is this normal? What do you think that I should prepare myself for of his coming home? So many feelings and questions.. I love him with all my heart. Just wanted to share my news!!!
Yes totally normal to feel that way. Whats his favorite meal? Maybe cook that for him? But just go with whatever the day brings you.
