Hi All. My boyfriend (who has SB and can walk and has pretty much good urinary continence) and I have recently been experiencing really bad sex. We are in a very emotionally / spiritually developed relationship, and sexual intimacy is the physical act that bonds us even further. We've recently become more aware of the issues related to sex as we become closer in our relationship on the way to engagement. He has ED and isn't really enthusiastic about taking Cialis everyday as a 27 year old. Sometimes he's just so tired after a day of work or even dancing at a wedding that he can't perform even though I am really turned on. We love each other and know that sex isn't the end all be all of a relationship, however, it would be nice to open a discussion with people of similar experiences to better understand how to optimize sex in a relationship where someone has SB.
Have you used treatments for ED? What worked / what didn't?
Do you reccommend going to see a urologist? What do they do? What questions should we ask?
Do you have fertility issues if you have SB? (of course beyond the genetic issues)
How much does physical strength / being tired play a role in not being capable of having sex with someone that has SB but can walk? Sometimes I feel like he may just be lazy?? or is it that he just can't physically do it??
How can a guy with SB still perform and optimize his partner's sexual experience?
When someone with SB has to use the bathroom right before a sexual encounter, how do you help keep the mood from breaking?
What sex positions are helpful / best for people with SB? We often find missionary with the women on top is best especially when he is tired.

Now your question about keeping the mood while the right before sex bathroom break is taking place, this may take a little more of an act on your part. Maybe while he is using the restroom, you could be in the bedroom getting everything ready or slipping into something sexy. Or doing something that keeps yourself interested. In my experience I never had the problem with me losing interest during that process. The woman on top in the missionary position is the best for when he is tired, but laying on your side can also be satisfying. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
