sometimes you just have to "ignore the rest" -- hell, I've been ignoring "the rest" for three years now! and my house shows it.

Hey guys....Geez....it has been busy assed crazy around here. Havent even been on the computer much. Been outside most of the time. Been running and going.... Been on the go today since 6AM and just now slithered out of the shower and up the stairs - Its midnight !!! Thought to my self, better check in with these girls before they get pissed !!! Had messages from several of you! Yea, it has been all about the damn yard and garden! And the house, and the other stuff that has to be done! Husband has been at his moms for two days - so I have really got a lot done this past two days!....Hell, all the ugly weather put yard stuff on standby...a lot of rain last week - tornados too! One did a bunch of damage to a few towns not too far from here, over in the next county. Creepy crap! But yea Molly, we are ok, no damage here !!! Just a lot of rain, hail and high winds. This damn weather has been terrible for a lot of folks! A lot of chaos going on for sure !! Then my birthday was last week - my cousin came up and spent the day with me - it was cold and rainy all damn day long. Now today was 85 and tomorrow is supposed to be 90. I am hoping this warming trend is here to stay. Yea, with all the rain and temperatures down in the 30s, and a light frost!! - I had to wait to put a lot of the stuff into the garden. A few nights I had to bring it all in the house - the dining room was full of "tender vegetation".... Muffin, about the new neurologist - things are going great. He did the EEG and said he is so stable, he doesn't need to see him for another year, unless we need to see him or have any seizures. So that is good. We love the guy! Finally a damn neurologist that is on the ball ! .... Went to the farm store today - finally they had some lavender! So I got some !! And some other goodies like pineapple sage, more onions, some eggplant and squash, and some peas. Oh, and more watermelon and cantaloupe . Oh, and some Swiss chard. - Got a lot put in already, now for more!! That will give me something else to bitch about ! LOL ..... Damn back yard!! And of course the husband hasn't been much help since he has spent the last two days with his mom , LOL....actually it has been kind of a help because it has kept him out of my hair for a few days, so I have been able to go top speed without the usual interruptions, and meals etc. .... And the boy caught strep throat at school - its going around again! So he has been feeling like crap.....of course Mom is of absolutely no help whatsoever !!! Actually tonight I am pretty damn tired - and just realized that I forgot to get coffee while I was at the store today!!! Gonna be a bitch in the morning!! Guess I will just have to go to the store at 7AM and grab a can !!! Im going to need it!!! Love you all !! Hoping everyone is doing ok. Will try to check in more often and not get so damn side tracked !

Glad to hear things are going alright Snap. Happy Birthday! Our birthday's are pretty close. I hit the big 40 a couple of weeks ago and so far I'm LOVING my new decade. We got snow again on the weekend but it's melted this morning.

I think I have come out of my funk. I had a couple of unexpected expensive days and am sorting out what to do about them. I am hoping to take Kidlet away to camp for a week this summer and if these unexpected expenses don't stop it may not be possible. It doesn't help that my disorganization is starting to cost me $$$ and I'm a bit frustrated with myself. Now I'm working on a plan and am back digging myself out. I'll probably be digging for some time yet but I try to remember that it's progress and I'm moving forward with my life.
